Polaroid Creates Social Instagram Camera

Under the brand name of Polaroid comes a camera that is based on the social network site Instagram’s camera logo.

The digital camera has been derived from a concept of the Italian ADR Studio, which was put online last May. The ADR Studio concept camera was thereby based on a Polaroid Onestep camera of the 1970′s.

Much details about the Polaroid Socialmatic Camera haven’t emerged yet. The concept version had a 4,3 inch touchscreen, 16 GB of internal storage, wifi- and bluetooth, replacable lenses, a LED-flash and a built in printer to directly print shot photo’s.

If all of these function will also be in the final version of the Socialmatic is still unknown. Also is still unclear if the camera will be specifically operating with Instagram or also with other social networks to share photo’s.

The Socialmatic should be available on the market at the start of 2014.
